Jang Na Ra and Jung Yong Hwa might join hands with a new drama Daebak Real Estate (literal title).
According to a media outlet on Sept. 21, Jang Na Ra and Jung Yong Hwa have been offered the lead roles in drama Daebak Real Estate and are positively reviewing it.
Daebak Real Estate tells the story of a real estate agent who performs exorcisms in real estate where ghosts appear or people die and “clean” it for sales. The fact that it will be an occult drama that revolves around our daily lives is drawing keen attention.
Jang Na Ra was offered to play Hong Ji Ah, the owner of Daebak Real Estate and an exorcist. In spite of her perfect appearance and brain, she goes off the deep end quite frequently and inherited her mother’s ability to perform exorcisms.
If Jung Yong Hwa confirms his appearance, he will take on the role of Oh In Bum, a swindler who makes money by using ghosts even when he doesn’t believe in ghosts. He is a man with keen observation and excellent reasoning skills, the perfect tool to be a great con-artist.
As the story revolves around the two’s partnership to find the truth behind Hong Ji Ah’s mother’s death, the chemistry between the two actors is rising rapidly.
Jang Na Ra has been praised for her solid presence in various works, including Go Back Couple, The Last Empress, V.I.P, and Oh My Baby, while Jung Yong Hwa might return to the small screen in three years since The Package, making this fresh combination all the more anticipated.
Daebak Real Estate is most likely to be programmed as a KBS drama in the first half of next year.
