Lee Seoyeon will not be participating in upcoming comeback activities due to an injury.
fromis_9 is currently preparing to release their third mini-album ‘My Little Society’ on September 16th.
Off the Record Entertainment released the following statement:
“Hello. This is Off the Record Entertainment.
This is an official statement regarding fromis_9 member Lee Seoyeon’s injury and promotion plans.
We sincerely thank all the Flovers who have been waiting for fromis_9’s third mini-album ‘My Little Society.’ We feel deeply apologetic for delivering this unfortunate news.
While preparing for album promotions, Lee Seoyeon recently injured her leg. She was immediately taken to the hospital and she underwent a thorough examination. As the hospital recommends that she focus on treatment and recovery, we have decided that the group will promote their third mini-album as an eight-member group without Lee Seoyeon.
Although Lee Seoyeon herself wanted to participate in the group activities, we decided to follow the advice of the doctors as we wanted to prioritize our artist’s health and recovery. We ask for Flovers’ understanding regarding this situation.
We would like to apologize to Flovers for the inconvenience that this sudden news has caused, and we will do our best to help Lee Seoyeon recover completely.
