FNC Entertainment will produce a feature film that shows the worldview of the new boy band.

P1H: The Beginning of a New World (hereinafter referred to as P1H), which combines K-POP with K-MOVIE, confirmed its release in October and released the teaser poster.

P1H is a story about boys scattering to different dimensions to find the star of hope so they can save the Earth, which has been devastated with a virus that maximizes anger and violence. The movie will feature the worldview of the new boy band, who will make their official debut this fall.

The film cinematizes the group’s worldview, which is based on the legend of the star of hope “Alkaid” that leads the Big Dipper and the star of demon “Alcor” that is said that those who see the star die. It will be directed by Chang, known for Canola, The Target, and Reset, and numerous actors, including Jung Jin Young, and six members of the boy will appear to portray the narrative of frustration and hope.

“K-pop artists are loved by people all over the world for their differences based on their musical worldviews, and I think it’s the same as how Korean movies have been recognized by movie fans around the world by proving that our story is everyone’s story,” said director Chang. “I wanted to combine two genres, the pride of Korean culture, to try to unravel the musical worldview of K-pop into the narrative of the movie. Through this, I wanted more fans to understand and sympathize with the musical worldview of the new boy group and receive comfort and support.”
