It has been belatedly revealed that BTS member Jimin donated 100 million won to the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation on July 29th.

That day, Jimin’s father visited the Jeollanamdo Office of Education, on behalf of his son, to donate money. He donated a scholarship fund to the chairman of the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation and said, “Please use this for the students in Jeonnam.”

Although BTS’s Jimin consistently donates to his alma mater and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, this recent donation is more meaningful as it will be used to aid students who are not from his hometown.

The Jeollanamdo Office of Education plans to induct Jimin into the “Jeonnam Education Hall of Fame” as a contributor to the development of education.

The chairman of Jeonnam Future Education Foundation said, “In order for BTS Jimin’s positive influence to be relayed to our students, we will use his donation thoughtfully.”
