JYP Entertainment revealed that investigations of malicious comments and false rumors surrounding TWICE have been carried out and that a total of 37 legal complaints have been filed so far this year.
According to JYP Entertainment on August 20th, “These legal complaints not only include individual malicious commenters but online communities and blogs that contain harmful content as well. We plan to proceed by taking both civil and criminal legal actions.” Recently, a post defaming TWICE became popular in a certain online community.
JYP Entertainment continued, “Going forward, JYP will take strong legal action without restraint against malicious comments and false rumors that damage our artists’ reputation and obstruct their activities.”
