Jung Hae In started his acting career in 2014 with the drama Bride of the Century. He made his debut at the relatively late age of 26, but instead completed both his studies and military service, allowing him to perform stable activities.

He then made his face known though his guest role in Goblin as Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun)’s first love, Choi Tae Hee. After that, he gained experiences through Prison Playbook and While You Were Sleeping, and played his first leading role through Something in the Rain in 2018.

Something in the Rain depicts a realistic love of a man, who used to be just a younger brother of a friend, and a woman, who used to be just a friend of his older sister. Jung Hae In played the role of Seo Joon Hee who is attracted to his older sister’s friend Yoon Jin Ah, was worried about causing troubles to his co-star (since it’s his first leading role), but fortunately, Son Ye Jin skillfully led him so that he could perform his best.

At the time, Something in the Rain heated up the online communities with every episode. The clips from the drama exceeded 10 million views, and even the OST songs showed great results in the music charts. Jung Hae In, who showed solid performances, quickly emerged as a new star in the melodrama genre, even winning the title of “Nation’s Younger Guy.”

In fact, Jung Hae In mostly starred in the romance genre since then. He starred in dramas One Spring Night (2019) and A Piece of Your Mind (2020). In movie Tune in for Love, he once again worked with Kim Go Eun, who he previously met in Goblin, and continued to solidify his “romanticist” image. Jung Hae In is currently taking a break and preparing for his next project.
