On a recent episode of IU’s Homebody Signal, which was upload on EDAM Entertainment’s YouTube channel, Oh My Girl’s Seunghee and Hyojung made a guest appearance. IU, Seunghee, and Hyojung had an exciting discussion on the show.
But among the various topics, a discussion of IU’s song “dlwlrma” drew attention.
IU revealed for the first time that she wrote the lyrics to her song “dlwlrma” with Oh My Girl in mind. Oh My Girl’s Seunghee and Hyojung showed their astonishment.
She continued, “The lyrics to ‘dlwlrma’ were a bit too fantastical and unrealistic for me. But I wanted to write a song like that and picked a model. And that was Oh My Girl. I wrote the lyrics while thinking that, if I ever get to meet Oh My Girl, I would give them the song.”
“dlwlrma” is one of the b-side tracks on IU’s 4th full album ‘Palette.’ These kinds of behind-the-scenes stories are sure to interest both IU and Oh My Girl’s fans.
