[Weekly TV Top 10] ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ Maintains Its Unrivaled Number One Spot

New dramas are pouring out in July. Starting with Into the Ring, The Good Detective, To All The Guys Who Loved Me, Was It Love?, She Knows Everything, Graceful Friends, and Train aired the first episode one after another. Sadly, however, no drama has captivated viewers. Except for The Good Detective, which began its rise in the second week of the broadcast, no other dramas received satisfactory responses. Amid the struggles of new works, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay continues to be the hottest topic despite stagnant viewership. Let’s check out which programs have made headlines over the past week.

Although It’s Okay to Not Be Okay saw a drop in popularity by 6.70 percent compared to the previous week, it remained at the top of the drama category for 4 consecutive weeks. The more the drama progress, the more viewers are showing love for an “interesting and immersive” story. Once Again has been spotted in the second place for 6 weeks in a row. Lee Min Jung and Lee Sang Yeon reconfirmed their love while Lee Sang Yi and Lee Cho Hee’s first kiss made headlines. JTBC’s new drama, Graceful Friends, started its journey in the 4th place. Though it received much attention as the follow-up of The World of the Married, but many showed their disappointments after the first broadcast.

Heart Signal 3 came to an end, maintaining its number one spot for 10 consecutive weeks. The final results/decisions drew keen attention, but the controversy over the cast continued until the end. I-LAND, which rose one notch, received much attention in trainee Kim Sun Woo, and the unique score system that made the netizens show their supports to a group instead of an individual. The third-ranked Call Center of Love made headlines when the news of Kim Ho Joon leaving the show due to military problems was reported. In the latest episode of How Do You Play?, which came in 4th, Lee Hyori shed tears over her karaoke controversy and even mentioned leaving the show. Right after the show, she received tons of supports and encouraging messages, drawing attention. However, people started to point out that the show is getting more and more boring due to the prolonged project. Running Man, which hosted a live broadcast to mark the 10th anniversary, came in 5th.
