BIG BANG’s Return May Be Delayed as Coachella May Be Postponed to October

As we all know, Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, always takes place in April. However, the immensely popular event may be postponed due to the increasing coronavirus outbreak situation in the US.

The enormous festival is held at Indio, California (within the Riverside County), where three cases of the virus were confirmed no Monday. Because the event brings in a huge amount of 250,000+ fans from all over the world during the two weekends that it’s held on, the concertgoers and sponsors are talking of cancelling or pulling out from the show. Coachella is thinking of postponing the event to October instead, but it seems as though we won’t find out until the next day or so, because they need enough artists to agree on the new date. If, however, it’s unable to be postponed, the entire event may be cancelled.

Among the many artists who are in the lineup to perform at Coachella is BIG BANG. Many fans were looking forward to the return of the group, as Coachella would be their first public performance since the members began enlisting in the military back in 2017. It will also be the group’s first performance without ex-member Seungri.

Because of the news that the festival may be postponed or delayed, it seems as though BIG BANG’s return may also be delayed. YG Entertainment has yet to respond to the Coachella news.
