BTS was selected as the ‘Artist of the Month’ in K-Pop Radar.
On March 6, K-Pop Radar reported that the music video for “ON,” released on February 28, reached 10 million views, which is three times faster than that of the previous music video.
Also, they said that this record is equivalent to about 150,000 viewers per minute. They also added that BTS has broken the record of any K-POP groups and marked the highest early views in K-Pop Radar’s history, explaining the reason behind their choice of “Artist of the Month.“
The number of views for the music video as well as BTS’s SNS followers of February also showed a surprising increase.
“BTS does not use its official Instagram often, but in February when the comeback photo was uploaded, the number of followers increased by 883,980,” K-Pop radar said. “They climbed 11 steps and topped the ‘Social Media Follower �” Instagram Category’ of the month.”
Twitter followers also increased by more than 400,000 in a month, surpassing the 24 million cumulative followers.
The music video for “ON” also ranked second on the “February Monthly View Chart” with just two days of its release and the comeback trailer, “Outro: Ego,” ranked third, proving BTS’s dignity as world-class idols.
