Thanks to her second mini album DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, MAMAMOO’s rapper Moon Byul has been listed on the fourth of the initial album sales chart for Korean female solo artists all-time.
According to HanTeo Chart, a Korean website for real-time album sales and rankings, Moon Byul’s new album has been receiving explosive praise while recently surpassing more than 66,000 copies of its initial sales. It’s been just a week since its release last Friday (Feb. 14, KST), but it’s probably owing to MAMAMOO’s domestic and foreign fandom that has fully supported her solo career all the time.
DARK SIDE OF THE MOON already entered the Top 5 rankings of the iTunes’ Top Albums charts in 10 regions around the world shortly after its release. Meanwhile, Moon Byul is appearing on KBS’s Music Bank show to perform her lead single “Eclipse” this evening (Feb. 21, KST). We’re so glad to see her matchless uptrend!
