Korea Brand Expo 2019 to Bring Latest Korean Beauty and Lifestyle Trends to LA

Korea Brand Expo 2019 is coming to Los Angeles from December 3rd to 4th at Grand Ballroom, InterContinental Hotel DTLA. It will run from 10 am to 6 pm on both days, offering more than 70 beauty and lifestyle companies from South Korea to the general public, including 26 startups and 47 small to medium sized businesses, showcasing their latest products and having 1:1 business meetings and networking opportunities. The expo also holds a fan signing event with K-pop star SoYou, K-Beauty makeup demonstrations, and more, allowing Korean beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment enthusiasts to get their fix of all things South Korea.

Hosted by Lotte Home Shopping and the Ministry of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) and Startups from South Korea, managed by Coex- Korea’s leading event management company, LA’s first Korea Brand Expo is expected to draw around 3,000 attendees interested in Korean culture and business opportunities.

While the event offers a wealth of experiences for ‘Hallyu’ fans, it is also a fantastic platform
for international buyers and investors to forge ties with leading and upcoming brands from Korea.
The LA event is the 4th Korea Brand Expo, following the success of the previous events in Thailand, Australia, and Russia which led to business deals worth over $128 million signed, the event aims to support small to medium-sized Korean companies by introducing innovative products and the latest industry trends to global consumers and providing networking opportunities.

The opening ceremony is to take place on Tuesday December 3rd at 4pm with the appearance of Young Sun Park, the Minister of SMEs and Startups, followed by the special performance by
K-pop singer, SoYou. A K-Beauty live makeup show by celebrity makeup artist, Ki Woong Baek, is to run at 1 pm on both days and will be followed by a signing event with SoYou. Hallyu fans also can enjoy dance performance by America’s Got Talent contestant, Animation Crew, and female waacking dance group, Glorious. All performances and activities, as well as entrance to the exhibition, are free of charge. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibiting companies will display and sell products covering K-beauty, fashion, accessories, lifestyle, entertainment, and technology. Also, the pre-event giveaway is running now
