The message revealed her brother’s encouraging words, “Having a hard time? Don’t worry, I’ll take care of everything.” Winter’s father chimed in with his own words of support, saying, “I will crush them all for you my daughter!””
This heartwarming family moment has caught attention, especially in light of the recent controversy surrounding HYBE CEO Bang Si Hyuk‘s message to ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. Last month, Min revealed KakaoTalk messages where Bang asked, “You can crush aespa, right?” The context, amidst their ongoing conflict, raised eyebrows.
Min’s unexpected press conference unveiling these messages has put aespa, who are preparing for their first full-length album after four years of debut, in a difficult position, especially considering the close proximity of their comeback to NewJeans’ release.
Despite the drama, aespa is gearing up for their comeback. They’re set to unveil their double title track, “Supernova,” on May 13th, followed by the full album, including the track “Armageddon,” on May 27th at 6 PM KST.
