Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Jun showed off their perfect cartoon-like visuals.
Today, TVING’s upcoming original series Island released four character posters featuring the charming actor. Based on the popular comics/webtoon of the same name, Island follows the journey of characters who have the destiny to fight against the evil that is trying to destroy the world.
The first one to catch the eye is Kim Nam Gil, who’s transformed into Ban, a man who is a human and a monster. With his piercing eyes and overwhelming charisma, Ban is staring straight ahead with the line “I’ve been waiting for you for a long time” written next to him.
Lee Da Hee, playing the role of Miho, the one who stands at the center of fate, has the line “So why are they after me?” written in her poster, raising questions as to what mysterious story will unfold on the island.
On the other hand, Cha Eun Woo shows off his unrealistic visuals in clerical clothing. As exorcist John with the power given by the god, Cha Eun Woo holds a staff glowing with divine power. His introduction reads, “I will protect her. That’s my choice.”
Then there is Sung Jun as Goong Tan, the one who was abandoned by the world. With long gray hair and a blood-colored sword on his shoulder, he exudes the aura of a man full of regrets. The introduction, “I shouldn’t have believed in humans,” and his sad eyes raise curiosity.
Meanwhile, Island will be released in December and will also be available through Amazon Prime Video.
