Shin Jimin, the former AOA member, is reportedly making her official comeback.
According to My Daily’s exclusive report on the 1st, Shin Jimin was cast in JTBC’s new rapper survival show The Second World (literal title). This new show is a survival show in which rappers from K-pop girl groups compete to become the winner.
It’s been reported that The Second World will feature eight main rappers from various girl groups including Cosmic Girls, Oh My Girl, and MAMAMOO.
Back in 2015, Shin Jimin broke the prejudice against the K-pop girl rapper by taking part in Mnet’s rapper survival show Unpretty Rapstar. Attention focuses on if she’ll surprise the K-pop fans once again with her talent as an all-around artist.
Meanwhile, Shim Jimin left the group and halted her activities after her former groupmate Kwon Mina accused Jimin of bullying her during her time in the act. But last month, she signed an exclusive contract with ALO MALO Entertainment, announcing her comeback.
