Hospital Playlist actress Kwak Sun Young has been offered to star in A Wonderful Sight.
According to SPOTVNEWs, Kwak is reviewing the offer she received from the production team of A Wonderful Sight.
A Wonderful Sight is a full-fledged hardboiled comedy series that strives to be the Asian version of Killing Eve. It centers around former police officer Koo Kyung Yi who turned her back to the world when her husband died. Since then, she became an insurance investigator who dives into a case in which a murder was perfectly set up to look like an accident. Koo Kyung Yi and the female serial killer’s breathtaking battle will certainly impress the viewers.
The series made headlines when Lee Young Ae was mentioned as the lead actress to take on the title role, Koo Kyung Yi. Naturally, the possible collaboration of Lee and Kwak is already drawing keen attention.
A Wonderful Sight is one of the four projects that Keyeast included in their roster for 2021. Writers team Sung Choi will pen the script, while Nobody Knows and Falsify director Lee Jung Heum helms the production.
Meanwhile, Kwak Sun Young is currently filming the second season of Hospital Playlist, set to premiere on June 17th.
