River Where the Moon Rises premiered with nearly a double-digit ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere episode of KBS’s River Where the Moon Rises garnered 6.5% and 9.4% audience ratings. Considering that its previous work Royal Secret Agent took off with 5% and finished with 14%, it is quite a solid start.
River Where The Moon Rises is a fusion historical romance that tells the famous love story of Princess Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) and Ondal (Ji Soo). It has been receiving keen attention as the project to revive the spirit of Goguryeo in the small screen in 2021.
Meanwhile, the 9th episode of JTBC’s She Would Never Know saw a slight rise to 1.816% viewership nationwide.
