Netflix’s hit medical drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call is returning for Seasons 2 and 3, with Ju Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Yoon Kyung Ho and Jung Jae Kwang reprising their roles alongside new cast member Jeong Yein.
The series follows Baek Kang Hyuk (played by Ju Ji Hoon), a brilliant surgeon with battlefield experience who takes charge of a struggling trauma unit and transforms it into a lifesaving team. The first season drew international attention for its fast-paced storytelling and cast chemistry, reaching Netflix’s Top 10 charts in 63 countries.
Season 2 will see Baek and his team confront larger-scale disasters and unpredictable emergencies while continuing their fight against systemic obstacles in healthcare. Having established themselves as a functioning trauma unit in Season 1, the team now faces new challenges as they race to save patients during the critical golden hour.
Ju returns as Baek, who takes on a new mission, while Choo Young Woo reprises his role as Yang Jae Won, Baek’s first disciple and emerging successor. Yoon Kyung Ho returns as Han Yu Rim, now promoted to head of planning and coordination at Hankuk National University Hospital, and Jung Jae Kwang reprises his role as Park Gyeong Won.

Jeong Yein joins the cast as Cheon Jang Mi, a veteran nurse on the trauma team, following a competitive audition process.
Director Lee Do Yoon will write Season 2, while newcomer Tomashi will join him as a writer for Season 3.
Release dates for the two seasons have yet to be announced.
