LUCY member Choi Sang Yeop has surprised fans with news of his upcoming marriage. The singer is set to marry a non-celebrity later this month.
Mystic Story announced on August 18th that Choi Sang Yeop is “preparing to embark on a new journey with a precious connection” in August.
His fiancée is not a public figure, so the wedding will be held privately. The agency asked fans for their understanding, saying that specific details about the ceremony could not be disclosed.
The agency also confirmed that Choi Sang Yeop will continue his music career after getting married.
“Choi Sang Yeop will continue to repay fans with good music and activities as a member of LUCY without change,” the agency said.
Choi Sang Yeop also addressed fans directly, acknowledging that the sudden announcement may have come as a surprise. He asked fans to continue supporting the couple with warm hearts.
Meanwhile, LUCY is preparing for an encore tour titled ISLAND across four Asian cities. The tour will kick off in Seoul from October 23rd to 25th at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium before heading to Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok.
