Yoo Seung Ho is officially making his return to the small screen—joining Flex X Cop 2 in a special appearance.
The upcoming SBS Friday-Saturday drama continues the story of a carefree chaebol heir who becomes a violent crimes detective, using wealth and connections to crack cases.
Season 2 reunites director Kim Jae Hong and writer Kim Ba Da, following their successful collaboration in Season 1, while Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his role as Jin I Soo alongside new partner played by Jung Eun Chae.
Yoo Seung Ho’s cameo comes through his long-standing connection with director Kim Jae Hong, whom he previously worked with on the 2018 series My Strange Hero.
In the series, Yoo will play Yoo Sung Won, the youngest son of a powerful media conglomerate family and a working sculptor. His character forms a close, almost brotherly bond with Jin I Soo through a network of chaebol heirs—setting up an intriguing dynamic between Ahn Bo Hyun’s established “chaebol detective” and Yoo Seung Ho’s fresh addition to the elite circle.
The appearance also marks Yoo Seung Ho’s first drama return in three years, adding to the anticipation. Now in his 27th year since debut, fans are eager to see what new side he’ll bring to the action-packed series.
Flex X Cop 2 is set to air later this year.
