Disney Plus has unveiled a striking couple poster and gripping main trailer for its upcoming series Climax.

The series follows prosecutor Bang Tae Seop (Ju Ji Hoon), who dives into a powerful cartel as he fights to climb to the top in South Korea, setting off a high-stakes survival drama among those around him.

The newly released poster highlights the sharp contrast between Ju Ji Hoon and Ha Ji Won, hinting at a relationship driven by conflicting desires. Taglines like “You go your way, I’ll go mine” and “Let’s each reach the ending we want” signal that the two are headed toward a decisive and possibly dangerous turning point.

The main trailer offers a closer look at Bang Tae Seop’s ruthless ambition. Determined to rise higher, he chooses to marry top actress Chu Sang Ah (Ha Ji Won), seeing her as the key to entering the inner circle of power.

But just as he believes he has everything within reach, suspicion toward his wife begins to grow. Tae Seop orders Hwang Jung Won (Nana), a secret informant within the prosecution, to investigate her—and the trailer cuts between his growing doubt and Jung Won’s quiet surveillance, building tension.

Then it warns, “Everything starts here. This is where the stories that shake South Korea are born,” as a family photo of the powerful WR Group—ranked third among the country’s conglomerates—flashes on screen, hinting at hidden forces pulling the strings behind the scenes.

With a cast that also includes Oh Jung Se and Cha Joo Young, Climax is already drawing buzz for its intense performances and sharp dialogue. Early fan reactions online are already heating up: “Ju Ji Hoon’s new vibe is insane… I’m so here for this,” “Everyone’s acting like they’re on the edge—and now I’m stressed in the best way,” “This lineup? The acting is about to go OFF.”

Climax premieres globally on Disney Plus on March 16th.
