The nominations for the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards were announced today.
Director Park Chan Wook’s critically acclaimed drama No Other Choice emerged as the frontrunner, scoring an impressive 12 nominations.
Following closely behind is The Ugly, which earned 10 nominations. The historical epic Harbin picked up 8 nominations, while My Daughter Is a Zombie and HI-FIVE each landed 6, creating a well-balanced field of contenders.
Voting for the final winners is now open to the public via the ‘Celeb Champ’ mobile app. In a unique system, the results of this netizen vote will count as a single ballot in the final judging, alongside the votes from the professional jury.
The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony will be held on November 19th at KBS Hall in Seoul and will be broadcast live.
