LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin is addressing backlash after a moment from her recent livestream sparked unexpected controversy.
During the broadcast, Huh Yunjin shared a casual outing along the Han River, where she was seen picking flowers and making a small bouquet. The clip quickly drew criticism from some fans, who pointed out that removing plants from public parks can be a violation of local regulations.
Under South Korea’s laws governing urban parks and green spaces, picking flowers or plants without permission is prohibited and can result in a fine. In some cases, it may also fall under minor offenses related to environmental damage, carrying penalties of up to 100,000 KRW (approx. 68 USD).
As the issue gained traction, Huh Yunjin promptly addressed it during the livestream, offering an apology. She later followed up on social media, acknowledging that her actions were careless and expressing regret to fans.
