Lee Sang Bo shocked K-drama lovers with the news of his sudden death. The actor passed away at the age of 45.

According to reports, on the afternoon of the 27th, after receiving a report from his family, Lee Sang Bo was found dead on the 26th. The police dispatched to the scene and are currently investigating the exact circumstances of his death, with no further statements or details revealed regarding his exact death.

Born in 1981, Lee Sang Bo made his debut in 2006 with the KBS drama Invisible Man Choi Jang Soo and consistently appeared in various works, including Bad Love, and hits like Private Life. In particular, he was recognized for his stable acting skills and presence as a lead in the dramas Miss Monte Cristo and Elegant Empire.

Lee Sang Bo is well-known for appearing in films such as Secretly, Greatly and Mephisto. He also continued his activities abroad, appearing in Japanese films.

Last year, Lee Sang Bo signaled a new beginning by signing an exclusive contract with an agency. This tragic news is all the more heartbreaking as he was preparing for a comeback while reviewing his next project.

Fans suspect he took his own life due to Lee Sang Bo being embroiled in allegations of drug use back in 2022. However, it was confirmed to be a misunderstanding stemming from the use of antidepressants prescribed by a hospital. The police determined there was no evidence to prove drug use and decided not to indict him, successfully closing the case with a finding of no wrongdoing.

Despite suffering from a deeply unfair situation at the time and a hit to his reputation, he did not lose his determination to act and received support upon his return to acting.
