Kim Min Gee is setting the record straight.
The track athlete and Single’s Inferno 5 breakout addressed plastic surgery rumors after old photos of her resurfaced online, prompting speculation about her appearance.
On February 28, Kim Min Gee uploaded a Q&A video to her new YouTube channel titled “You Asked, I Answered… EVERYTHING ‘Single’s Inferno 5,'” where she opened up about everything from launching her channel to questions about her looks.
“I started YouTube because I wanted to show a more honest side of myself,” she explained.
During the video, she responded directly to a viewer who asked, “I’m just genuinely curious—I saw people talking about plastic surgery in your Reels. Did you get anything done?”
Kim Min Gee reacted with a laugh, saying, “I really wanted to answer this. I’m not sure that question is completely without bad intentions, though.”
She firmly denied undergoing plastic surgery, adding, “I really didn’t do it. I honestly didn’t. If you look at that old photo, it looks wild.”
She went on to explain that she was wearing braces at the time. “When you have braces, your mouth sticks out like this,” she said, clarifying that her appearance back then was influenced by orthodontic treatment.
However, she did admit to minor cosmetic procedures. “Who gets pretty just from braces?” she joked. “I did get a little filler. My nose and forehead are fillers.” Kim Min Gee added candidly, “Did I think I’d get this pretty just from braces and a little filler? I didn’t even know I’d turn out this pretty either.”
With her trademark confidence and humor, she made it clear she’s comfortable owning her glow-up and setting the record straight along the way.
