Junho’s wax figure is being made and will soon be on display in Hong Kong.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, part of the Merlin Entertainments Group, announced on February 25th that they are creating a new wax figure of Junho, a famous Korean actor and global artist. Fans will soon be able to see his figure, representing both his K-pop career and acting work.

Since debuting with 2PM, Junho has expertly balanced his music and acting careers, rising to become a powerhouse Hallyu star. With each new, diverse role, he has earned critical acclaim and established himself as one of the most respected actors of his generation.

Recently, Junho showed his acting skills in the tvN drama Typhoon Family and expanded his international presence with the Netflix series Cashero.

To make his wax figure, his body measurements were taken in Korea. Junho, known for his calm and dedicated attitude, participated in the process for about four hours. He said, “It was fascinating to see how they captured even the smallest details of my body. Starting a new project always excites me, and today felt like the beginning of something new.”

Creating a wax figure requires detailed measurements of the face, hands, posture, expressions, skin tone and body. This process is key to making sure the figure looks just like the real person.

Wade Chang, General Manager of Merlin Entertainments Hong Kong, said, “Junho is an artist loved by fans worldwide. His wax figure will be more than just a likeness; it will represent the global impact of Hallyu culture.”

The date for the figure’s unveiling will be announced soon on Madame Tussauds Hong Kong’s official website and social media.
