Song Sun Mi has drawn attention online after sharing a photo of director Hong Sang Soo from the Berlin International Film Festival. Interest grew further as past updates about the son he shares with Kim Min Hee resurfaced.
She recently posted about her experience at the festival on social media. “I went to the Berlin Film Festival. It was an experience that helped me see the world more broadly,” she wrote. She added that watching people live different kinds of lives helped clear her thoughts and gave her perspective on how she wants to live. She also said she had a meaningful time and promoted the release of her film The Day She Returns.

The photo she shared shows her seated and talking with Hong Sang Soo in Berlin. Their calm and composed appearance in a formal setting caught fans’ attention and highlighted their long-standing connection in the film industry.
At the same time, photos taken last year at Lotte World Lake Park of Hong Sang Soo, Kim Min Hee, and their son have been circulating again online. The images show the couple spending time with their child, with a stroller nearby.
The couple has kept their private life largely out of the public eye since news of their son’s birth in April last year. Public curiosity has naturally grown as their child approaches his first birthday.
