Are they dating, or just committed to their roles? Lee Jun Hyuk and Shin Hye Sun have sent fans into a frenzy after posting photos of what appear to be matching couple tattoos.
Lee Jun Hyuk uploaded two black-and-white photos to his personal Instagram account on February 10th. The images focused on his hand and wrist with a distinct tattoo design.
Soon after, Shin Hye Sun also shared a photo of her tattoo in the same spot on her hand, with the caption “Glamorous Melancholy.”
The synchronized posts immediately ignited dating speculation online. Netizens flooded the comments with excitement, asking, “Are you guys dating?” and “Their thriller drama just got way too sweet.” One fan noted, “Isn’t this a ‘lovestagram’ at this point?”
However, the tattoos are likely a promotional tease for their upcoming project. The pair are reuniting as leads in the new Netflix mystery thriller The Art of Sarah.
The series is about Sarah Kim (played by Shin Hye Sun), a woman who creates a fake identity to become the face of a top luxury brand, and Detective Mu Gyeong (Lee Jun Hyuk), who uncovers her lies.
The show is set to premiere on Netflix on February 13th.
