Seo Eun Soo is stepping into a major new role alongside top star Kim Woo Bin.
Seo has been confirmed as the female lead in the upcoming tvN drama Gift, according to YTN Star on January 30th.
Based on a popular webtoon, Gift is a fantasy sports drama with an underdog story. It follows a baseball coach who gains supernatural powers after an accident and is then assigned to coach Deokcheon High School’s baseball team, notorious for always being in last place.
Seo Eun Soo will play Yoon Seo Jin, a passionate PE teacher and head of the school’s baseball club. She’ll star alongside Kim Woo Bin, who plays the superpowered coach, Jung Min Yong. This is the first time the two will work together, and fans are excited to see their chemistry.
Seo is currently gaining attention after her standout role in the Disney Plus original Made in Korea, where she played a tough investigator.
Celebrating her 10th anniversary since debuting in Don’t Dare To Dream, Seo is entering a busy year. She’ll start filming Gift in the first half of 2026 and will also return for Made in Korea Season 2, which will be released later this year.
