Shin Mina and Kim Woo Bin celebrated their wedding in a star-studded ceremony filled with blessings from their entertainment industry colleagues.
Notably, the identities of the officiant and congratulatory singer, who were kept secret until the wedding day, have now been revealed. Venerable Pomnyun Sunim officiated the ceremony, while singer Car, the Garden, performed the congratulatory song. Venerable Pomnyun Sunim shares a special bond with the couple, particularly with Kim Woo Bin, who overcame his battle with nasopharyngeal cancer with spiritual and emotional support from Venerable Pomnyun Sunim.
The wedding took place on December 20th at 7 PM at the Dynasty Hall of The Shilla Seoul. While the ceremony was strictly private, a large crowd gathered outside the venue as soon as the details became public.
Shin Mina quietly stood by his side during Kim Woo Bin’s cancer recovery. Earlier this year, the couple made headlines when they were seen visiting the Jeongto Social and Cultural Center, which was opened by the Buddhist community Jeongtohoe, led by Venerable Pomnyun Sunim, on Buddha’s Birthday.
Though Do Kyung Soo couldn’t attend the wedding, he made a surprise appearance during the “2025 Melon Music Awards.” He briefly stopped by the venue for about 10 minutes before leaving in a waiting vehicle, showing his loyalty and offering his personal congratulations to the couple.
Lee Kwang Soo arrived with Do Kyung Soo, greeting fans in the hotel lobby before heading into the venue. Producer Na Young Seok also attended, confirming that all members of GBRB had gathered to celebrate.
Numerous fellow actors and singers were in attendance, including BTS’s V, Kim Tae Ri, Gong Hyo Jin, Uhm Jung Hwa, Bae Jung Nam, Kim Eui Sung, Nam Joo Hyuk, Ahn Bo Hyun, Park Kyung Lim and Go Doo Shim. Prominent writers such as Kim Eun Sook and Noh Hee Kyung were also present as guests.
Kim Woo Bin and Shin Mina have been in a public relationship for 10 years, since confirming their romance in 2015. Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017, which caused him to suspend his activities while focusing on his recovery. After receiving a clean bill of health in 2019, he has since returned to work, with Shin Mina faithfully by his side throughout his entire battle with the illness.
