NewJeans members Minji and Danielle have held individual meetings with ADOR.
According to reporting from SPOTV News on the 20th, Minji and Danielle met separately with ADOR to clarify each side’s position. Hanni, who is currently known to be in Antarctica, has not yet participated in a one-on-one session.
Earlier, Haerin and Hyein—ahead of the appeal deadline following their loss in the first trial of their exclusive-contract validity lawsuit—abruptly announced their decision to return to ADOR. After their statement, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also declared through their legal representatives, “After careful discussion, we have decided to return to ADOR,” adding that they were forced to announce it separately because ADOR had not responded.
ADOR reacted to the trio’s unilateral announcement by stating that they were “still verifying the facts.” Shortly afterward, the label confirmed it was coordinating individual meetings to determine whether the three members truly intended to return to the company.
During these face-to-face meetings, both sides reportedly exchanged their views on the conditions and environment required for a possible return. With these discussions underway, industry attention is now focused on whether ADOR and NewJeans can move any closer to a complete five-member reunion.
