Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin—starring together in the upcoming SBS drama Dynamite Kiss—teamed up for a romantic pictorial with fashion magazine ELLE Korea.
The photoshoot captures the duo’s sweet and heart-fluttering chemistry, reflecting two people who truly believe in love. Channeling the playful, upbeat atmosphere from the set of their new series, Jang and Ahn showed off their close bond and teamwork throughout the shoot.
In the interview that followed, both stars opened up about their on-screen chemistry. Jang Ki Yong shared, “Eun Jin has such a bright personality—she always walks onto set with this positive energy that instantly lifts the mood,” adding, “This time, her beauty is definitely one of the highlights of the show.”
Ahn Eun Jin also praised her co-star, saying, “From the very beginning, Jang Ki Yong completely embodied his character, which made it easy to immerse myself. He’s so considerate and meticulous—that sensitivity really shows in his acting. Because he pays close attention and responds delicately to his partner, our chemistry naturally comes alive.”
When asked what drew her to the drama, Ahn Eun Jin said, “Every episode gives you that ‘dopamine rush.’ I kept thinking, ‘What happens next? What’s going on with these two?’ The story starts with an accidental kiss that sparks their connection, and once they start working together in the office, that so-called ‘love-hate relationship’ begins. It’ll be fun to see how their secret office romance unfolds.”
Jang Ki Yong added, “Just hearing the phrase ‘office romance’ felt exciting and intriguing. Two people from different worlds fall in love after a single kiss, and from there, all kinds of dynamic moments unfold. Filming those unpredictable, thrilling moments was a lot of fun.”
Reflecting on the story’s message about love in a fast-paced world, Jang shared, “Love can come from a partner, a family member, a friend, or even a colleague. It’s the force that keeps this planet going.”
Ahn Eun Jin concluded, “If watching this drama makes people want to fall in love or want to kiss someone, I think that means we’ve succeeded. A good romance should be cute, heartwarming, and make you think, ‘I want to meet someone and love like that too.'”
Dynamite Kiss premieres November 12th, following the story of Go Da Rim, a single woman who disguises herself as a married mom to land a job, and Gong Ji Hyuk, the team leader who unexpectedly falls for her.
