Rowoon is set to make a special appearance in Confidence Queen, the upcoming drama starring Park Min Young.
Star News reported on July 23rd that Rowoon will appear in the new weekend series, slated to premiere this September. His appearance marks a reunion with director Nam Ki Hoon, who previously helmed the 2023 drama Destined With You, where Rowoon played the male lead. Rowoon readily agreed to take part in his new project out of loyalty and support for the director.
Confidence Queen is a caper drama that follows a trio of skilled con artists who go after the rich and corrupt. The 12-episode series stars Park Min Young, Joo Jong Hyuk and Park Hee Soon, and filming has already wrapped.
Rowoon’s cameo was filmed prior to his military enlistment. He was originally scheduled to enlist on July 21st, but the date was postponed pending a re-evaluation following a required physical examination.
Confidence Queen will be released globally in 198 countries as the first Korean series on Amazon Prime Video. In South Korea, it will air on TV Chosun and stream on Coupang Play. The series premieres on September 6th.
