Rowoon’s military enlistment has been delayed.

On July 17th, FNC Entertainment confirmed to Xports News that his enlistment had been postponed. “The reason for the re-examination involves personal medical information, so we ask for your understanding as we cannot disclose further details,” the agency stated.

According to an official update posted on the agency’s website, Rowoon received a Grade 7 classification during his recent physical exam, conducted by the Military Manpower Administration as part of the standard enlistment process for all eligible individuals. Grade 7 typically requires a re-examination due to inconclusive results.

FNC added, “Rowoon immediately submitted an appeal and is scheduled for a follow-up physical in early August.” The agency further explained that he is hoping to resolve the issue and fulfill his military duty as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible.

Rowoon had originally been scheduled to enlist on July 21st, beginning with basic training before being assigned to his military unit.

Rowoon debuted in 2016 as a member of the K-pop group SF9 and has since built a successful acting career. He’s known for his performances in Extraordinary You, She Would Never Know, The King’s Affection, Destined With You and The Matchmakers.

Up next, he’s set to star as the lead character Jang Si Yul in the Disney Plus original series The Murky Stream, which is expected to premiere later this year.
