Song Ha Yoon and Sim Eun Woo are getting ready for their comebacks following the school bullying accusations—but both seem to be gearing up for a return.

Song Ha Yoon, who rose to peak popularity with Marry My Husband, is pushing back legally, filing a criminal complaint against her accuser. Meanwhile, Sim Eun Woo recently broke her silence by launching a personal YouTube channel to address her side of the story.

On July 5th, Sim Eun Woo uploaded a video to her newly created channel, where she admitted, “I’m a little nervous and feel weird.” She went on to explain, “I haven’t had many acting gigs lately. I took a 5-year break due to the bullying issue, and after fighting for a long time, I finally received results proving it wasn’t a bully.”

She added, “It was a really difficult time for me, but I learned what it means to truly rest, and I was able to reflect on myself. I only got to audition once during that break, but I’m hoping for another chance to show people what I can do.”

Sim Eun Woo was first accused of school bullying back in 2021. She consistently denied the claims, and her agency released a statement saying, “There was no act of bullying. The police recently dropped the charges against the accuser not because their claims were found credible, but because there wasn’t enough evidence to prove them false.” They then added that Sim only issued an apology based on advice from the production team of the project she was a part of—not an admission of guilt.

As for Song Ha Yoon, this marks the first time she’s publicly responded since the bullying rumors surfaced a year ago. “I’ve consistently stated that the claims made against me are false,” she said. “We’ve collected evidence and filed a criminal complaint against A, the first to spread the rumors. The court has issued an official summons.”

In response, Person A pushed back, claiming that Song Ha Yoon had indeed been forcibly transferred and warned, “Retaliating against me could constitute a false accusation—I plan to review this legally.”

The actress fired back, stating, “We’ve submitted multiple pieces of objective evidence, including school records, proving there was no forced transfer. A, who resides in the U.S., continues to spread false claims, assuming they can avoid investigation by being overseas.”

With this latest legal step, Song Ha Yoon is working to clear her name and return to the spotlight.
