Upcoming fantasy action film Omniscient Reader: The Prophet has officially locked in its release date for July 23rd, and along with it, dropped a striking main poster and an intense trailer.

The fantasy action blockbuster begins when a novel that ran for over 10 years suddenly becomes reality on the day it reaches its conclusion. Kim Dok Ja (played by Ahn Hyo Seop), the story’s only reader, must team up with the novel’s protagonist Yoo Joong Hyuk (Lee Min Ho) and his allies to survive in this now-apocalyptic world.

The newly released poster teases the thrilling premise with the tagline: “The novel only I knew became reality.” The looming threat, the unpredictable plot twists, and the unique chemistry between the reader-turned-hero and the original protagonist hint at a gripping, genre-bending journey ahead.

The clip also showcases breathtaking visuals of an expansive world never seen before, packed with dynamic action sequences that instantly elevate the atmosphere. Character-specific signature weapons like silk threads, a shield, and a sword create a whirlwind of combat, bringing the novel’s iconic moments to life. The trailer’s closing scene reveals Kim Dok Ja’s unwavering determination to rewrite the ending where not just the protagonist survives alone, but everyone makes it through together, adding intrigue to this epic journey.
