JTBC is gearing up to premiere its new romantic drama Efficient Dating for Singles in 2026, bringing together a cast lineup sure to capture the hearts of viewers.
Based on the hit Naver webtoon by author Tari, Efficient Dating for Singles follows a woman who finally decides to put herself out there and start dating, only to find herself torn between two very different men. The story explores what it really means to find true love as she navigates the complexities of attraction, uncertainty, and emotional connection.
Han Ji Min stars as Lee Eui Young, an assistant manager in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel. Eui Young is insightful, skilled, and well-respected by her colleagues, but her love life has been stuck in neutral. Now in her thirties and without a meaningful relationship to speak of, she decides to dive headfirst into the world of blind dating.
Park Sung Hoon plays Song Tae Seop, the owner of a woodworking studio and one of Eui Young’s blind dates. With a gentle demeanor and a strong sense of self, Tae Seop dreams of building a stable, loving home. He’s usually calm and grounded, but an unexpected encounter with Eui Young stirs up emotions he didn’t see coming.
Lee Ki Taek takes on the role of Shin Ji Soo, who is the complete opposite of Tae Seop. Free-spirited and independent, Ji Soo never imagined himself meeting “the one” on a blind date—until he crosses paths with Eui Young. As his feelings grow, he slowly begins to change in ways even he didn’t expect.
Jung Hye Sung plays Jung Hyun Min, a cheerful colleague on Eui Young’s team. With her open-minded attitude and spontaneous lifestyle, Hyun Min prefers casual flings to serious relationships and embraces every moment of her single life. She and Eui Young form a fun and supportive friendship at work.
Kim So Hye rounds out the cast as Shim Sae Byeok, the youngest member of the purchasing team. New to the workforce and still adjusting to adult life, Sae Byeok looks up to Eui Young as a role model. She dreams of becoming a confident, successful woman, but finds herself constantly tested by the chaos of the real world.
Efficient Dating for Singles is set to premiere on JTBC in 2026.
