Jay Park has offered a rare glimpse into his financial status, suggesting his net worth exceeds 13 billion KRW (approx. $9.1 million) during a casual YouTube conversation.
The multi-hyphenate star appeared as a guest on the popular YouTube show “Salon Drip 2” on April 29th, where he engaged in a relaxed yet revealing chat with host Jang Do Yeon.
During the interview, the conversation inevitably turned to Park’s wealth. Jang carefully broached the subject, asking about the fortune he amassed throughout his career.
Park responded with humility: “I honestly don’t know exactly. My father manages (my money) for me,” he explained. “I don’t have a strong desire for money. My goal is simply to eat well, live well, and stay healthy.”
When Jang mentioned that internet searches estimate his worth at around 13 billion KRW, Park offered a rare confirmation about his financial status. “Wealth isn’t just cash—it includes various assets. I don’t know the exact number, but since I’ve been working hard for a long time, I’d say it’s probably better than 13 billion KRW,” he acknowledged.
The hip-hop entrepreneur admitted he’s not above Googling other celebrities’ net worth himself. “I search out of curiosity—Usher, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber,” Park confessed. “It’s surprising to learn people are curious enough to search for my wealth too.”
During the same interview, Park named his 2013 hit “Mommae” as his most reliable moneymaker.
