Jung Hae In and Rowoon will make special appearances in SBS’s upcoming youth music romance drama Spring of Youth, set to premiere with a special two-episode event on May 6th and May 7th at 10:40 PM KST. The drama will then air every Wednesday at the same time.
Spring of Youth follows the story of Sa Gye, the lead vocalist of the nation’s top K-pop band, who is abruptly kicked out of the group. As he embarks on a new chapter as a college student, he crosses paths with the bright and inspiring Kim Bom, setting the stage for a heartfelt journey of growth, healing, and a bold musical comeback.
The drama is helmed by director Kim Sung Yong, known for his hit productions The Veil and My Dearest. Produced by FNC Entertainment and airing on SBS, Spring of Youth is already being hailed as the spiritual successor to the iconic 2009 drama You’re Beautiful.
The main cast includes rising stars Ha Yu Jun, Park Ji Hoo, Lee Seung Hyub, Seo Hye Won and Kim Sun Min.
On April 23rd, the production team revealed surprise still photos of Jung Hae In and Rowoon on set, raising anticipation for their guest roles. Jung is seen dressed in a doctor’s lab coat, while Rowoon holds cue cards—both appearing in roles that are a refreshing change from their usual images.
The production team shared their excitement, saying, “We are truly thrilled and grateful to have two of the most in-demand actors, Jung Hae In and Rowoon, join us for Spring of Youth. Their unexpected transformations will be a treat for fans, and we hope viewers will look forward to their special appearances.”
The first and second episodes of Spring of Youth will air back-to-back on May 6th and 7th, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday at 10:40 PM KST.
