Koo Jun Yup has decided to lay his late wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, to rest at Chin Pao San, a private cemetery located on a mountainside in Jinshan District in Taiwan.
Chin Pao San is the final resting place of many influential figures from politics, business,and entertainment, including legendary singer Teresa Teng and Hong Kong-born singer Coco Lee.
According to ET Today on March 5th, Koo chose Chin Pao San as Hsu’s final resting place while seeking a private space where both he and her family could visit her in peace.
Hsu’s family initially considered a tree burial, honoring her wishes, but the decision was delayed due to Koo’s preference for a more permanent site. He ultimately decided on Chin Pao San after discussions with her family, wanting a dedicated space where he could always visit her.
Chin Pao San, the final resting place of many late stars, including actor Teresa Teng and director Chi Po Lin, will now also be home to Barbie Hsu. Yet, Koo Jun Yup’s grief will surely remain.
