The latest episode of the YouTube show “Salon Drip 2” served up a heartwarming dose of chemistry between My Dearest Nemesis co-stars Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook.

In the February 11th episode, Choi admitted to feeling nervous around Moon, sharing, “She’s so intelligent and even published a book. I felt like I needed to choose my words carefully.”

Moon, who recently revealed her identity as an author, showed a modest side when discussing her writing career. “It’s fascinating to see real-time sales data when I visit bookstores,” she shared, expressing her amazement at her new role as a novelist. She elaborated on her journey to publication: “I’m usually someone who likes keeping secrets and hadn’t planned on going public, but then I thought about leaving something behind even when I’m gone. That’s when I reached out to the publisher.” Moon added, “I was concerned about people trying to find me in the book, so I carefully blended my story with the protagonist’s, creating many spaces to hide myself.”

When discussing first impressions, Moon described Choi as “(He was) so Gen Z with pink headphones and a t-shirt with holes—he had this free-spirited, rough feel,” adding playfully, “Can I talk about how you were at the action school? He was adorable.”

The episode culminated in a heart-fluttering moment when Choi asked Moon, “Let’s have a meal together.” The suggestion prompted host Jang Do Yeon to exclaim, “I’m getting butterflies!” creating a dopamine-inducing scene that had viewers smiling.

Near the end of the episode, Choi shared, “It was great to talk with Ga Young. It was interesting to hear stories about her that I didn’t know before.”
