The first stills of tvN’s upcoming weekend drama Love Next Door have been released, showcasing the charming dynamic between the leads, Jung Hae In and Jung So Min.
Love Next Door follows the tumultuous romance of a woman trying to reboot her flawed life and her mother’s friend’s son, who is a living reminder of her embarrassing past. The newly released stills capture the palpable chemistry between Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In) and Bae Seok Ryoo (Jung So Min). The first image features the pair in their school uniforms, exuding a nostalgic vibe. Seok Ryoo appears to be engrossed in something at the local store, while Seung Hyo seems to be scolding her, hinting at their playful relationship.
Years later, the two, who had been living intense lives pursuing their dreams, reunited in their childhood neighborhood of Hyerung-dong. The stills show them sitting side by side in the playground, sharing a conversation that oscillates between unfamiliar excitement and humorous animosity, reflecting the true essence of a “boy-girl best friend” dynamic.
The captivating chemistry between Jung Hae In and Jung So Min is already winning over drama fans. Speaking about his co-star, Jung Hae In shared, “Jung So Min is a bright person with a lot of energy. Working with her, I’ve come to see how considerate and warm-hearted she is.” Jung So Min added, “Jung Hae In brings so much brightness and laughter to the set. Thanks to him, I’m having a lot of fun shooting.”
