Lee Jung Eun revealed some candid details about her past relationships on the June 18th episode of SBS’s Dolsing Fourmen, where she appeared alongside fellow JTBC drama Miss Night and Day stars Choi Jin Hyuk and Jung Eun Ji.
Lee Jung Eun shared that her last romantic relationship was 13 years ago, in 2011. She further revealed, “I dated two guys for 10 years each. And there were a few flings in between.”
When comedian Lee Sang Min commented, “Some people say you have a bad eye for men,” Lee Jung Eun replied, “I like guys with soulful eyes. My mother even told me, ‘You have a bad eye for men, so don’t get married and just live alone.’ She said that because I’ll suffer if I get married. After about 10 years, they all turned out to be bad guys.”
She added, “I even gave my older brother’s desk to an ex-boyfriend once. I thought he needed it, so I gave it to him while he was in the military. But I wouldn’t do that now.”
When asked if they were all actors, Lee Jung Eun playfully dodged the question with a shrug and a smile, saying, “They might still be out there acting.” The host pressed on, asking what she’d do if offered a role in the same project as an ex. Her reply was cool and collected: “Well, there are no lingering feelings there anymore. Honestly, I don’t even think about him these days. So yeah, I’d take the role.”
Lee Jung Eun has often been mistaken for being married due to her age. She clarified, “I’m not against marriage, but I just haven’t met the right person yet. I’ve never been married. What’s the point of getting married at this age?” She also shared an amusing anecdote, “There was a misunderstanding because Go Chang Seok‘s wife’s name is ‘Lee Jung-eun.’ Once, I went to film a KBS drama, and the camera directors greeted me because they thought I was his wife.”
