The 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival announced a special event looking back at Son Ye Jin‘s amazing filmography.
This special event, titled “Son Ye Jin, the One and Only,” will delve into Son’s remarkable 23-year acting career through a variety of engaging events. Fans can look forward to a special booklet dedicated to her work, an in-depth conversation with the actress, and a captivating photo exhibition showcasing her journey as an actress. Additionally, she’s expected to walk the red carpet at the festival’s opening ceremony.
BIFAN programmer Mo Eun Young praised Son’s unique charisma and versatility as an actress. “Son Ye Jin is a true standout of 21st-century cinema,” Mo said. “She’s shattered typecasting and built an incredible career by taking on a wide range of roles in both films and dramas.”
Son herself expressed her heartfelt gratitude for this special recognition. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be recognized alongside such talented actors who have had the special retrospectives,” she shared. “Thank you for creating this very special moment in my acting journey.”
The 28th BIFAN will take place from July 4th to 14th in Bucheon City.
