Following the confirmation of her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol, Han So Hee has notably exited several advertising campaigns, sparking intrigue and speculation about the timing relative to her personal news.
As of March 20th, notable departures include her role as the face of Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s soju brand “Cheoeum Cheoreom,” a partnership that concluded in early March. A company spokesperson stated, “After a year-long contract period with Han So Hee, we did not renew the agreement. The next advertising model has yet to be determined.”
Han So Hee began representing the soju brand in March of the previous year, chosen for her active engagement with fans on social media. This is the first time in eight years that the face of the brand has changed within a year. This marks the first model change for the brand in eight years, placing Han So Hee’s tenure notably shorter than that of predecessors such as Lee Hyori, HyunA, Shin Min Ah, and Suzy.
Additionally, a three-year collaboration with NH Nonghyup Bank has also come to an end. Han So Hee had been a model for the company since 2021 and concluded her activities at the start of this month. Industry sources reveal the company plans to explore new promotional avenues with a new face soon.
The used car trading platform HeyDealer has also closed the comment section on their YouTube advertising videos featuring Han So Hee, due to negative comments directed at her following the recent controversy.
