BLACKPINK’s Lisa is stepping into the world of acting with her first role in the highly anticipated Season 3 of HBO’s hit series The White Lotus.
Details about her role are being kept under wraps, but Variety has confirmed her participation under her given name, Lalisa Manobal. Production for the new season is already underway in Thailand, specifically around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok.
Lisa joins a star-studded cast including Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, and returning favorites like Natasha Rothwell and Murray Bartlett. This marks the second BLACKPINK member to appear on HBO, following Jennie’s debut in The Idol last year.
The White Lotus has become a critical and commercial success for HBO, with its first season getting 20 Emmy nominations and 10 wins, and the second season receiving 23 nominations with 5 wins.
The Thailand-set Season 3 is set to continue the series’ legacy, with Lisa’s exciting addition to the cast.
