Ahn Bo Hyun melted hearts with adorable stories about his grandmother on the February 4th episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy.
When asked about his frequent TV appearances, Ahn explained with a laugh, “If I do a streaming show and disappear from TV for a year, my grandma thinks I’m starving to death.”
Amused by the response, Shin Dong Yeop teased, “Daily or weekend dramas must make her really happy then,” and asked if his grandmother ever gets worried when he gets injured on screen.
Ahn Bo Hyun recalled, “She called me once while watching a scene where I got into a car accident. She thinks it’s live. And when I played a villain in Itaewon Class, there was a scene where my father hit me. That really seemed to make her heart ache.”
Shin Dong Yup joked, “Park Seo Joon must be a villain to your grandma!” He then asked, “Doesn’t she think you should marry the actress you kissed onscreen?”
Ahn Bo Hyun mentioned his hit drama Yumi’s Cells, where he and Kim Go Eun played a couple. “After seeing my love scenes for the first time, she got shy and said, ‘That girl seemed nice.’ She even asked, ‘Does she like sashimi? In case you bring her to Busan…’ Her innocence made me laugh,” he shared, bringing warm smiles to the set.
