Bae In Hyuk recently adorned the cover of THE STAR magazine, embracing the theme “Bae In Hyuk’s Time.” In the pictorial, Bae showcased a range of vibes from youthful freshness to sexy and captivating allure.

Speaking about his feelings following the conclusion of The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, which earned him an Excellence Award at a year-end ceremony, Bae expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and attention. “I’m really thankful. People loved the character Kang Tae Ha a lot, and through Tae Ha, I was able to show the world myself.”

The actor shared about the series: “When I read the script, I thought it was fresh and fun. The subject and plot of the drama, shifting between the past and the future, were fast-paced and extremely intriguing. I wanted to show various aspects of my acting through this project.” When asked about the most memorable scene, Bae mentioned Episode 12, where “Joseon Tae Ha” dies leaning on Yeon Woo (Lee Se Young). “The dialogues exchanged with Yeon Woo before his death were so poignant and sad; it stirred a lot of emotions in me,” he recalled.

Addressing the dating rumors with co-star Lee Se Young, Bae clarified, “We were nominated for the Best Couple Award. Since all the nominated couples were great actors, we thought we should showcase our chemistry. The drama hadn’t ended yet, so our chemistry was very much alive,” dismissing the dating rumors as just a “funny happening.”

When asked what acting means, Bae said, “Acting feels like an endless journey. It’s a profession with no definitive answers, without a clear beginning or end. In a way, I could be the answer, and what I do can become my own unique color.” He also expressed a desire to tackle roles and genres with heightened emotions. “The greater the emotional depth of a role, the more research and contemplation it requires, which can be challenging. But it’s in these challenges that I find more fun.”

On how he wants to be perceived as an actor, Bae said, “I want to be known as an actor who can blend into any character, not seen as Bae In Hyuk but as the role within the drama.”
