Woo Do Hwan, Jang Dong Gun, Hyeri, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Min Seok and Kim Min will star in an upcoming South Korean action movie titled Night Heat.
Night Heat is a gritty action film that captures the intense 24-hour struggle of people fighting to survive in the heart of Bangkok. The movie is produced by Hive Media Corp of 112.12: The Day, Inside Men and The Man Standing Next, and it marks the production company’s second hardcore action movie following Deliver Us From Evil. Kim Pan Soo, a graduate of the London Film School, and Woo Min Ho, known for his work on Inside Men and The Man Standing Next, participated in creating and adapting the story.
Woo Do Hwan plays Tae Gang, a former professional boxer who now frequents illegal underground fight clubs while working as a bagman for the largest drug organization in Thailand. Jang Dong Gun stars as Baek Do Joon, an Interpol agent assigned to bust drug organizations in Bangkok. Hyeri portrays dancer Ari, a former idol singer who now strives to survive in Bangkok with Tae Gang.
Park Sung Hoon takes on the role of Man Soo, a Korean-American drug dealer in Bangkok. This marks his first time starring in an action movie genre. Kim Min, who played John in the Disney Plus series Big Bet, is set to captivate viewers again as Kwang Soo, a twin brother and business partner of Man Soo. Kim Min Seok will surprise viewers as drug courier Jjanggu and showcase his new side as an actor.
Night Heat will begin filming on January 25th in Bangkok.
