Park Seo Joon shared his thoughts on his Hollywood debut film, The Marvels, in a promotional interview for Gyeongseong Creature.
Reflecting on what it was like making his Hollywood debut with The Marvels, Park Seo Joon said, “There was something different about working on big-budget movies. Everyone has clear roles and respects each other. I thought I’d see only English actors since we filmed in England, but there were people from all over the world. It was cool to see everyone happily starting the day with morning music and dance.”

He added, “But acting in English was hard. Although Director Nia DaCosta gave me lots of encouragement and support, communicating in English was still challenging.”
Many expressed disappointment about his limited screen time in The Marvels. Regarding such responses, he expressed, “It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I accepted the offer fully aware of my brief screen time. There’s no regret as I chose to star in the movie to feel what it would be like working in a Hollywood film. I thought of it as an experience I might not be able to do in the future or something I might never get to try in my lifetime, so the opportunity felt incredibly precious.”
In other news, Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 is slated for release this year.
